About the Role

We're looking to add an Accountant / Controller to our growing team to oversee the financial operations of the dealership. This role will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and cash flow oversight, while also helping build out stronger financial processes as we scale. You'll work closely with ownership to keep the business financially healthy and compliant, and to provide the reporting and insight needed to make good decisions about growth, staffing, and inventory investment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants ownership over the financial function of a growing, hands-on business — not just a back-office bookkeeping role, but a seat close to the decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
• Process payroll and ensure timely, accurate employee compensation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Track and report on home sales, cost of goods sold, and gross margins by unit
• Manage vendor and manufacturer invoicing, floor plan financing, and related payables
• Oversee inventory accounting for homes in transit, on lot, and under construction
• Support budgeting and cash flow forecasting
• Ensure compliance with state and federal tax filings, sales tax, and other regulatory requirements
