Analyst, Finance & License Administration

Position Summary

Jada is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Analyst, Finance & License Administration to play a key role in managing the company's royalty reporting and licensing financial administration. This individual will be responsible for supporting the financial aspects of the company's licensing portfolio, ensuring accurate royalty reporting, timely payments, and compliance with contractual obligations across 50+ licensors.

The Analyst will work closely with the Finance, Accounting, and Licensing departments, serving as an important link between financial operations and licensing activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining effective relationships with internal departments and external licensing partners.

Job Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze sales data to submit royalty reports to 50+ licensors on a quarterly basis.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of each licensing agreement to ensure full compliance and understanding of contractual nuances.
• Review and assess new and renewed royalty contracts, providing valuable feedback to support effective negotiations.
• Work closely with the accounting department to ensure royalty payments, advances, and minimum guarantees are paid on time.
• Maintain and update trackers for advances and minimum guarantee payments to licensors.
• Work closely with the licensing department to coordinate discounted royalty rates and special programs.
• Foster strong relationships with licensors through clear communication and consistent support.
• Assist in financial audits by collaborating closely with the accounting team to gather required documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft NAV and/or SAP preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Minimum of 2 years of finance, accounting, or royalty administration experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $73,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications
• Bonus: Up to 20% of annual salary based on performance

Pay: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
