Summary

This position is located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships, Asset Marketing and Management of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The incumbent is responsible for the management and resolution of loans and other assets that have been acquired from failed financial institutions or have been included in a Shared Loss Agreement or a Joint Venture Agreement with FDIC.

Duties
----------
- Analyzes data related to the financial institution industry, recommending or presenting to the supervisor findings that may affect certain Division policies, business initiatives, or goals and objectives.
- Analyzes or assists in preparing case memoranda for the disposition of large, complex assets, which may entail analyzing personal and corporate financial statements, budgets, appraisals, and net present value calculations.
- Prepares or assists in preparing Statements of Work for the procurement of asset management-related contract services such as property management and appraisals.
- Keeps current on industry matters related to asset management in order to recommend appropriate changes in Division policies, guidelines, or operational procedures.
