Key Responsibilities

Integration & Transformation Strategy

  • Execute the financial roadmap for integrating multiple businesses into a single, unified organization, implementing the target finance structure, policies, and operating model.
  • Lead finance’s role in the ERP conversion, managing scope, timeline, and budget, and partnering with operations and IT to deliver a single platform with full data integrity.
  • Implement and maintain a strong control environment and standardized processes, driving a culture of continuous improvement across all finance functions.

P&L

Management & Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the Division President and local leadership team, informing decisions on pricing, investment, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and management reporting that give leadership a clear, unified view of performance across all businesses.

Back-Office Operations

  • Oversee all back-office functions, including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory, across the Louisiana businesses.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and scalable month-end close and audit readiness for all entities.
  • Manage working capital across AR, AP, and inventory to optimize cash flow and return on capital.

Organizational Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, assessing talent, structure, and succession as the businesses are combined.
  • Partner with operations, FP&A, and corporate finance leadership to align priorities and drive operational efficiency across the organization.

Financial Planning, Reporting & Strategy

  • Own financial reporting for the Louisiana business, presenting results, insights, and recommendations to the Executive Vice President, Division President, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including long-range planning, financial modeling, and ROI evaluation of capital projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning and investment decisions with clear financial rationale, risk assessment, and value-creation insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 3+ years in a finance leadership role (e.g., Controller or Finance Manager) supporting P&L for a multi-entity business.
  • Experience supporting multi-business integrations, ERP conversions, or finance transformation initiatives, with hands-on involvement in execution.
  • Deep expertise across accounting, AP, AR, inventory, and month-end close, with a proven ability to build and scale internal controls.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Power BI, with experience participating in system implementation.
  • Experience in a construction or project-based industry and in a private equity–backed, multi-site organization preferred, including supporting reporting to ownership and lenders.
