Lawley is in search of an Employee Benefits Underwriting Analyst in Buffalo or Rochester, NY for their Employee Benefits Group! This is a great entry level opportunity for a candidate with a degree in math or actuarial studies and an interest in learning the insurance world. This position would focus on providing underwriting support to our service team, and coordinating financial analysis, clinical analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s degree in math or actuarial studies and strong experience in excel. Fundamental Components of the Job:* Provide underwriting support to Benefit Consultants, Client Relationship Managers and Account Executives. * Develop knowledge in the fundamentals of Benefits underwriting, reporting, and consulting with Lawley’s support. * Coordinate provision of financial analysis, clinical analysis and formulate underwriting, contribution and financial analysis reports. * Create client reporting package and deliver clear and concise reporting on a timely basis.
