Interim Financial Accountant & Business Advisor

: This position is open to applicants located in North America between the US Pacific and Eastern Time Zones (UTC-7 to UTC-4), with a preference for applicants in the PDT (UTC-7) and CDT (UTC-6) time zones for operational purposes.Employment: This position is a 4-month, fixed-term position. The Interim Financial Accountant & Business Advisor contributes to the calling of Medical Teams International by providing senior level accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and business advisory support. This role develops financial metrics, forecasts, cost models, and decision support tools; contributes to month end close, financial statement integrity, and annual budgeting; and ensures work aligns with organizational policies, donor requirements, and applicable accounting standards. The Interim Financial Accountant & Business Advisor collaborates across teams to provide reliable financial information and strengthen organizational decision making.
