Oregon State Treasury is recruiting for the position of Investment Analyst 3, Diversifying Strategies. The primary purpose of this position is to support the day‑to‑day investment and administrative activities of the Diversifying Strategies Portfolio.

Job Duties Summary

Receives and reviews investment presentations, takes frequent meetings with prospective general partners and their agents. Analysis encompasses the identification of proposed investments’ unique risk and return attributes, evaluation of those attributes relative to other, competing investment opportunities, general partner track record assessment and a thorough inventory and evaluation of all other terms and conditions. This position assists in the assembly of overall due diligence investment memorandums. Assists in performing on-site due diligence visits with Investment Officer(s) and attends industry conferences.

Gathers and utilizes data setting forth current trends in Diversifying Strategies and measurable economic influences pertinent to the status of Diversifying Strategies investments. Research topics may include: alignment of interests analysis; partnership conditions and terms analysis; and developing a performance analysis framework. This individual assists Investment Officer(s) with research to support overall Program’s strategic direction.

Performs portfolio analysis and produces reports to aid Investment Officer(s) to assure compliance with applicable investment guidelines as dictated by Oregon Revised Statutes and the Oregon Investment Council.
