The Sr. Financial Analyst for Central IT plays a pivotal role in supporting the University and Health System through comprehensive financial management and analysis. Expertise in financial management and analysis will directly support our mission of delivering cutting-edge IT solutions to the university and health system. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Finance for Central IT, this role is integral to the efficient financial management of a diverse IT portfolio. This position performs complex analysis and planning to assist management in establishing and controlling budgets, setting financial goals, making projections and meeting fiscal objectives. Performs activities in support of various functions, e.g., budgeting, financial planning, revenue and expenditure monitoring against budget, reconciliations and changes, and consolidation. Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems and generates reports. Performs complex statistical cost and financial analysis of reports and data and prepares reports for management to improve financial performance and compliance. Provides data-based recommendations on critical financial business decisions.
