Controller (Nonprofit / Government-Funded Organization)

Fort Lauderdale, FL | Hybrid | Reports to Chief Administrative Officer

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience)

What You’ll Do

This is not a “sit back and review reports” Controller role. You’ll be in the middle of it all — leading, improving, solving.

You will

• Own and oversee accounting, banking, payroll, audits, and financial reporting
• Lead expenditure projections and financial planning
• Guide and develop a small, capable team of managers and staff
• Partner closely with the CAO on:
• Budget development
• Financial analysis
• Board reporting and presentations
• Serve as a key point of contact for funding agencies and government partners
• Ensure everything we do meets regulatory and funding requirements
