Deputy Director of Finance

JOB This position plans, organizes, supervises, and directs the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, investments, purchasing, revenue collection, business and alcohol licensing administration, audit coordination, and financial systems administration. Work involves supervising Finance Department personnel, maintaining sound internal controls, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and governmental regulations, and providing accurate and timely financial information to support organizational decision-making and the City's annual operating and capital budget process.

The Deputy Finance Director serves as the operational leader of the Finance Department and is responsible for ensuring efficient, effective, and compliant financial operations throughout the organization. The position supports executive leadership through financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and budget monitoring while maintaining primary responsibility for the City's accounting, treasury, audit, purchasing, revenue administration, and financial reporting functions.

• Plans, organizes, and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
