$95,000-$115,000

The posted range represents the full earning potential for the role over time, not the typical starting or hiring rate. Starting pay is determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and market alignment. The top of the range reflects compensation that employees may reach through demonstrated performance, increased responsibilities, and tenure in the role. Duffy Health Center operates as a Federally Designated Healthcare for the Homeless Program, which mandates that a majority of the patients served are either currently experiencing or have recently encountered homelessness or other forms of housing instability. The staff members are deeply committed to the mission of the organization, with several individuals possessing pertinent lived experiences that inform their work.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Controller serves as a vital member of the health center’s financial leadership team. This position oversees all financial operations with a targeted focus on managing and optimizing fiscal functions that support programs and services for individuals experiencing homelessness. The Controller ensures full compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, enhances internal financial systems, and supports strategic planning with data-driven insights.

The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, regulatory compliance execution, and financial data integrity for the organization. This role ensures that financial records are accurate, timely, compliant, and audit ready always, in accordance with FQHC, HRSA, Medicaid, Medicare, and grant requirements.
