My client is a vertically integrated manufacturing and consumer products company. The company operates multiple business units including OEM manufacturing. Sales channels include direct-to-consumer, Amazon, wholesale retail, corporate gifting, and OEM customers.

The Opportunity

The Company has reached an inflection point where the complexity of the business has outgrown its current finance structure. The company is implementing a new ERP platform, expanding product lines, growing branded consumer sales, and pursuing larger OEM opportunities. The VP Finance / Controller will build the financial infrastructure needed to support the next stage of growth while serving as a strategic business partner to the CEO.

Position Summary

This executive leadership role combines the responsibilities of a manufacturing controller, ERP transformation leader, and strategic finance executive. The successful candidate will lead accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, ERP optimization, inventory and cost accounting, insurance and benefits management, banking relationships, and business analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management functions.
• Develop timely monthly financial statements and executive reporting packages.
• Lead ERP optimization and business process improvement initiatives.
• Implement profitability reporting by customer, product, brand, channel, and business unit.
• Own inventory accounting, manufacturing costing, and variance analysis.
• Develop KPI dashboards and real-time management reporting.
• Manage banking, treasury, financing, insurance, and benefits relationships.
• Support strategic planning, capital investments, and growth initiatives.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance and administrative team.
• Partner with operations leadership to improve margins, inventory turns, and cash flow.
