Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Investment Banking M&A Deal Originator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the identification, development, and execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) opportunities, driving growth and value creation for our clients. Your expertise in corporate finance, valuation modeling, and stakeholder management will be essential in establishing strong relationships with potential targets and clients. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, financial analysts, and external partners to originate deals that align with strategic objectives and market trends.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and originate M&A opportunities through market research, industry analysis, and networking with corporate clients, private equity firms, and other stakeholders
• Lead initial outreach efforts to potential targets, fostering relationships that facilitate deal flow and strategic partnerships
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including financial statement preparation, cash flow analysis, and valuation modeling to assess target companies’ worth and strategic fit
• Develop detailed financial projection models to evaluate transaction scenarios, synergies, and valuation impact
• Manage due diligence processes related to M&A transactions, including financial due diligence and technical accounting reviews in accordance with GAAP standards
• Negotiate deal terms, purchase agreements, and other contractual arrangements to maximize value while mitigating risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning initiatives, project management activities in finance, and stakeholder engagement efforts
