About the position

Mohave County is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to support County-wide workplace safety, OSHA compliance, transportation safety, and loss prevention initiatives. This position serves as a safety resource to County departments by conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, performing risk assessments, and supporting compliance with applicable OSHA and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is:* A proactive safety professional with experience in occupational safety, OSHA compliance, accident investigation, transportation safety, safety inspections, and employee training. * Comfortable working independently in both office and field environments while effectively collaborating with employees, supervisors, and operational leadership to promote a safe and compliant workplace.

Salary Range: Range18/Steps 1-6 ($26.93 - $31.22)

* Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Frequent travel throughout Mohave County, including visits to remote work locations, active job sites, and field operations.

• Must pass pre-employment background screening.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for operation of motor vehicles at the start of employment and maintain said license while employed in this position.
