Overview

Please note that this is a fully remote position with available on campus touchdown workspace. Candidates must be able to report to the New Haven campus as requested to meet with Faculty, Leadership and for team meetings/events as needed.

The Senior Finance Manager, Clinical Research will report directly to the Associate Director, Research Finance and support the Integrated Business office for the Departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Dermatology. They will collaborate extensively and strategically with the Senior Director, Finance & Administration, Department Leadership, Faculty and Staff, Yale School of Medicine, and Institutional offices on maximizing fiscal responsibility and be responsible for the preparation, management, and administration of Department's long-term and daily financial activities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with University and Department policies in the areas of business and finance, while managing a team responsible for supporting and managing research, clinical research, and clinical trial portfolios and other non-sponsored (internal/gift/endowment) funding sources. They will also provide analytical and financial services, guidance and consultation to faculty and staff, optimizing each PI's use of clinical research funds for awards within assigned portfolios.
