This is not a traditional accounting role where you are only closing the books each month; you will work directly with business owners, improve accounting systems, create better reporting, strengthen internal processes, and help shape how BDA onboards clients, uses technology, documents workflows, and scales delivery. For the right person, this role can grow into a senior leadership position overseeing client accounting delivery, internal teams, onboarding, and the future operating model of the firm.

Position Summary

Black Dog Advisor is hiring a Client Controller / Accounting Delivery Manager to help lead client accounting delivery across our growing client base.

This person will work directly with the founder, fractional CFOs, bookkeepers, clients, and outside vendors to manage accounting operations, onboard new clients, improve accounting technology workflows, strengthen client reporting, and document repeatable processes inside Monday.com.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, construction accounting experience, public accounting experience, client onboarding experience, and the ability to communicate clearly with business owners and internal team members.
